Once you establish at least 20 minutes a day for yourself on a regular basis…take it to the next level
by getting re-connected with nature. The location can enhance the whole experience of integrating body-mind and spirit and reflecting on your thoughts.
The following tips will help you find your ideal location:
Go outdoors whenever possible
During morning sunlight is best
sitting on the grass in your favorite park
sitting on the sand at the beach
sitting by a lake
If you have a meditation space in your home or office that works too but try to
avoid high traffic areas, noisy places and power lines whenever possible.
The key is to create a fun experience that you look forward to so that it becomes part of your daily ritual!

Alright now that you have had time to focus on yourself and have identified the first thing you would like to focus on let’s take the next step…
VISUALIZATION is a key component to manifesting change in your life…so take time out 20 minutes a day to visualize the change you want to make.
Taking time out can be challenging at first but once you get into that habit it works out well…
Find a quiet place…shut off your cell phone…breathe…and start visualizing that change already in place…
Creating clear visual images helps you to manifest change…do it and see!

Happy 1st day of 2010…
This is the best day to start something new…
So I am starting a Living Beyond Organic tip of the day to help inspire good changes for YOU!
Tip #1: Start manifesting change by FOCUSING on one change at a time…so decide what your 1st priority is.
For example, you might want to:
Drink more water
Reduce stress
Have more fun
Tighten your buns
Flatten your tummy
Improve your complexion
Have more patience
Learn to love yourself
Whatever it is, start by identifying it. Take some quiet time out for yourself…close your eyes…breathe…focus…and ask yourself what it is YOU want to start with. Once you know
you’re half way there!
Tomorrow we will take the next step, until then sending Love and Light to support you…

Rosemary, Basil, Thyme, Savory and Marjoram
I am creating a series of recipes using this magical blend of herbs to share with all of you The Living Beyond Organic enthusiasts!
You will find a new Provence inspired recipe in the next Living Beyond Organic Newsletter!

Hi everyone! My name is Christara Avaness, daughter of the Food Alchemist. I’m a third year pre-med at USC and have supplemented my coursework with studying the effects of foods and herbs on the human body for the past 7 years. I’ve also had the opportunity to provide nutritional consultations for the past two years. The Food Alchemist is still out of the country and without internet access, so I’ve recently been introduced to the world of blogging…. very excited to share what I’ve learned with you. SO – What Happens When We DON’T Eat Super-Enzyme Foods? Here are three major effects on our organs and how they relate to some common dis-eases:
1) THE LIVER grows sluggish under the perpetual, daunting task of filtering hard-to-digest foods. When it is finally unable to properly convert cholesterol to digestive bile, higher levels of cholesterol remain circulating in the bloodstream.
2) THE PANCREAS degenerates from having to produce alkalizing bile to pH-balance the over-acidic digestive tract; this results in the production of ineffective insulin, eventually leading to type II diabetes.
3) THE KIDNEYS deteriorate from the barrage of refined salt and daily stress. Organic sodium, a major mineral component of UNREFINED salt, is one of the six essential minerals needed to properly pH-balance the blood fluids. Its synthetic counterpart, however, only serves to compromise the integrity of the kidneys, ultimately leading to a dysfunctional state conducive to high blood pressure.
What SHOULD We Do Then?
- Eat Super-Enzyme Foods and drink at least 8 glasses (64 oz) of natural spring water
- Supplement with B-Complex & Potassium
- Use RealSalt from Redmond Utah
